Pittsburgh Against Hunger in Haiti,

November 8, 2008 Update

On Saturday, November 8th, we had over 400 volunteers from nine churches, local businesses, schools, and from areas as far away as Bloomsburg, PA and Baltimore, Maryland come to West Hills.  We assembled, weighed, sealed and boxes more than 104,196 meals for Haiti.  We collected 950 jars of peanut butter to send along with the dehydrated food bags. Over $21,000 was raised for our project.

Volunteers from all ages and all walks of life worked together to feed the people of Haiti.  Thank you to everyone who gave sacrificially of your money and your time for this project.  Thank you to everyone who prayed for each volunteer and for the precious people of Haiti.  Please keep Haiti in your prayers.
