Our congregation has a heart for missions and missionaries. We financially and prayerfully assist fourteen (14) missions and missionaries around the world. Our annual missions budget is $60,500 USD.
Each year, we have two main events that celebrate our missionaries and spotlight their work. In the month of May, we have our Mission Awareness Day and each October we have our Faith Promise Rally. At both of these events, we invite our missionaries to participate and preach during our services and share with our bible groups and youth.
In addition, we have special projects and events throughout the year...fundraisers to meet needs around the world...special speakers...one-day mission trips, etc. WHCC has at least one team go on a short-term domestic or international mission trip each year. We keep our congregation up-to-date about our missions and missionaries via weekly bulletin updates, monthly newsletter articles, email newsflashes, a large bulletin board in our main hallway, and by spotlighting a "Mission of the Month."
Contribute financially through our Faith Promise program. Please contact any missions member for a pledge card. Faith promises can be made at anytime during the year. Be sure to mark your weekly financial contributions for "Missions."
Pray for our missionaries, many of them are serving the Lord in very dangerous places and in life threatening circumstances.
Send a missionary a card letting them know you are thinking of them and to encourage them. (See any missions member for addresses/emails).
Designate extra funds (and mark these as such on the offering envelope) for the missions and missionaries you are especially drawn to support.
Attend WHCC missions events so the missionaries that come to visit us are surrounded by the love and support of their WHCC brothers and sisters.
Join the Missions Ministry! "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few."

The members and friends of West Hills making “Faith Promises” to God financially support our worldwide missionaries. Whether you promise to give $10 per week or $100 per week this is a financial commitment you believe God will enable you to fulfill, week by week, during the next year. When you participate in God’s work through Faith Promise, you become a shareholder in reaching lost people of the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Please mark your gift as “Missions” on the offering envelope each week.
Your Faith Promise gift or any amount designated for Missions should be over and above what you are giving for the General Fund. If we decrease our general giving while increasing our missions giving, we are defeating ourselves.
If you were not able to attend our Faith Promise Rally in October when we kick-off each new missions fiscal year, you can still give to missions each week. Please mark your gift as “Missions” on the offering envelope
