Study Tips
(Please note that these tips are designed for Bible Bowl Players, not Beginner Bible Bowl)

1. Read the text.  This is the most important thing you can do.

2. Listen to the audio text.  There is a good online audio text available at www.biblegateway.com or you can purchase one from National Bible Bowl for $15.

3. Use your fill-in-the-blank text.  Read a chapter a few times, then move to the "easy" half of the fill-in text, then when you can do that, move to the "hard" part of it.  You'll be surprised just how fast you can learn a chapter or two!

4. Use your study question book (or it's also on the Study-Pro program).  Having someone else quiz you over these questions can be very helpful.

5. Use the computer software.  All Pittsburgh Bible Bowlers are given a copy of the study software (it carries a team license, so we can distribute it to players on our team, but no one from another team).  There are a ton of things that this software can do, take advantage of it!

Most importantly, don't be limited by what you see here.  You know how YOU study best...so do whatever it takes to learn it.

You should be spending about 5 hours a week studying.  Be sure to study every day--five hours in one day is not the same as one hour each day!
