West Hills Christian Church (WHCC)

Bible Bowl is a Bible quizzing program based on the G.E. college bowl of the 60's. Each year, hundreds of teams from churches across the U.S. study a selected portion of scripture and go to competitions ranging from the local level to a cumulative national tournament to play head-to-head with other teams.

Students in grades 6-12 are eligible to play Bible Bowl. Students in grades 3-5 are eligible for Beginner Bible Bowl, a simplified version designed especially for younger players.

Where most church programs may ask a student to learn one verse of scripture a week, a Bible Bowl coach will typically ask a player to learn 1 chapter a week. Although most players won't memorize the text, many will learn it very well. Bible Bowl is one of the best ways to learn God's word, and to have fun at the same time.
